Bethany Whitaker – What is Multimodal Transportation?

When we talk about transportation, it’s more than just electric vehicles. These days, especially in Burlington, we can get around more and more while without burning fossil fuels. I spoke with Bethany Whitaker, a member of the Burlington Electric Commission, who has thought a lot about vehicle use around the country. We talked about planning for Net Zero Energy future, her newfound love of e-bikes, and the concept of multi-modal transit. Don’t worry, she explains what that means.
